Day 1 (07/19) Meet & Greet Welcome Reception
The welcome reception will kick off the 2019 LaGrand Family Reunion. The reception will include snacks, drinks, and fellowship with family after a long day of traveling.

Day 2 (07/20) Family Picnic
No family reunion would be complete without the family picnic. Our time-honored tradition of gathering outdoors as a family to enjoy sports, games, music, and good food is continuing as we host the Jones-Thompson Family Picnic.
Planned activities include card games, board games, horseshoes, touch football, bean bags, and more…
Time: 9:30am – dark
Menu: Adult – Sliced brisket, pulled chicken, potato salad, creamy coleslaw, bbq beans, cornbread, potato rolls, apple butter, sweet bbq sauce, spicy bbq sauce, mustard sauce, banana pudding, drinks. Youth – Hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, dessert, drinks.
Location:Rock Creek Park – Sites 001AM & 001PM
This 1,754 acre city park was officially authorized in 1890, making it the third national park to be designated by the federal government. It includes the Nature Center and Planetarium, 32 miles of hiking trails, biking, historical sites, horseback riding, biking, paddling and wildlife viewing.
Day 3 (7/20) Family Banquet
Our family banquet will be more a formal evening family gathering for a delicious meal and a good time! It will be a time for us to celebrate new family members, graduations, and weddings. A time for us to gather around to hear stories about years past. A time to remember our family history and our strong foundation.
Time: 6:00PM – 10:00PM
Attire: Dressy / Semi-formal
Day 3 (8/5) Worship Service
God calls us to worship together; for it is in community that we grow in faith, receive support and encouragement. It will be a time to remember those who are no longer with us but who will always remain in our hearts.

Anytime (8/2-8/5) National Museum of African American History and Culture
For those interested in visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture, timed entry passes are free and are available online beginning at 6:30am ET daily until they run out. A limited number of walk-up passes (one per person) are available starting at 1:00pm on weekdays on the Madison Drive side of the building.
